Rip off!!! Tiny portions! I ordered half a roast duck for take out. When I got home, I found only 8 small dried out pieces. This isn't even fresh! I jigsawed the pieces together to see if it was actually half a duck, definitely not! Aside from a partial breast (not even all of it) and the drumstick, there were only 2 pieces that resembled half of the thigh, no pieces from the sides and nothing from the back. This is, at best, a quarter to a third of a duck. At $12.46, that's $36 - $48 for a whole duck. Robbery! And they were from the day before! Should have gone to Uncle Joe's! This place is definitely not the place you want to go if you are hungry or have company to feed or are expecting fresh food.

They have the freshest Chinese food in the area. The staff is friendly too. I haven't had a bad meal there. The beef and broccoli was delicious. I also love there mixed soup.

I read the reviews that's why I went there for take out. I was disappointed, the servings were smaller than any take out I have been to, but more important the food was barely edible, I would never go again

This place and Chinese Gardens in Hypoluxo are the only 2 places that I would recommend. The shrimp with lobster sauce is the best down here in Florida.

If you're looking for American-Chinese food, this place will suffice. The food at Wah House is fresh, however, their food isnt anything special. There are far more high-scale Chinese restaurants one could go to, but this place definitely will give you more bang for your buck. I do not know what the previous posters are complaining about, the portion sizes are huge! A male friend of mine could not even finish his own portion, and he's pretty good at doubling as a human garbage disposal system. We ordered their general tso's chicken, pad thai, and cream cheese wontons. The general tso's chicken was not as crunchy as expected, but I was delighted with the fact that they did not use the same base used for orange chicken (many bad chinese places will do this). The pad thai had really fresh veggies and was super tasty, but unfortunately was coated with far too much oil (probably will not order this again). The cheese wontons were not crunchy and sweet, like traditional crab rangoon...they were instead, disappointingly bland, filled with regular cream cheese, and soggy! I do not recommend eating at the establishment, this is definitely a take-out place. When my friend and I made the mistake of eating there, the owners of the place were also eating lunch with their children and friends. The fact that their kids were using scooters inside of the establishment made me question how many other health code violations they must be violating, however, considering that I did not get sick, I guess they're pretty clean within the kitchen. All in all, this place is a dime a dozen; if you're nearby and want chinese food, try it out, but dont bother driving to this establishment just for the food.

When you first move into a new town a good chinese delivery place close to top of the list of essentials right after getting directv hooked up. After a few misses we found Wah House. They aren't the closest to us but they always manage to deliver the food hot and fresh and within a reasonable amount of time. The house special rice is some of the best I've had with nice sized shrimp, not the little plankton sized most other chinese places give you. Just about everything on their menu exudes fresh and good ingredients. After eating their chinese you don't feel the need to drink a gallon of water and hit the couch. I think they cook their food relatively low in salt and let the flavor of their fresh ingredients take over. Sometimes nothing ruins a good delivery chinese place than making the mistake to take out and see where your food is coming from. I decided to risk it and ordered some food for take out. I was happily surprised as an 8 pm pick up the place was spotless, didn't have a grease smell to it, and the kitchen was open from the counter and the cooks were busily preparing order in a neat and clean way. There was barely a grain of rice on the ground. Bottom line, wah house, good, clean, fresh chinese food delivered fast and hot.

Coming from Jersey, this is the best chinese fast food we've ever had. We've tried other chinese fast food along the area and they taste awful. Wah house has never let us down.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
